I'm on your team supporting you and your partner throughout your pregnancy and birthing time
A Doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to a mother before, during and shortly after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.
A Doula is not an OB, Doctor or Midwife. Doulas are not medical professionals, do not perform medical care and do not deliver babies.
Studies show Doulas can reduce labor duration by 25% (2-3 hours), reduce chances of a C Section by 50%, reduce use of Epidurals and Pitocin by 30%, increase Apgar scores, improve breastfeeding rates & overall duration, and overall increased satisfaction of ones birth experiences
A Doula supports you and your partner during your pregnancy and birthing time. Your partner knows you more intimately than anyone, so no one is going to be able to support you in the way that your partner will, but oftentimes partners need support too. Your partner knows you the best and a Doula knows birth, so with both you have a complete support system. A Doula can help encourage your partner with offering suggestions and recommendations for how to better support you. A Doula also is an extra set of hands so you are never without support. Studies show just the presence of a Doula alone can help everyone feel more at peace and supported during your birthing time.

I typically only take 1-2 clients a month. I love to spend a lot of time with my couples and really get to know them throughout their pregnancy, so I only take a small number of clients throughout the year. I factor in all my commitments, both personal and professional, and any travel plans before taking on clients because I want to ensure my clients are fully supported.
